Looking to take the next step in your property career while contributing to something bigger The Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking a skilled and motivatedSenior Property Officer within its Property and Assets team.

About the Role:

The Senior Property Officer will lead a small dedicated team in managing a varied portfolio of leased and owned commercial and residential properties across both urban and remote communities. This position will oversee lease arrangements coordinate contractors manage property maintenance and compliance and contribute to the development of longterm property strategies that support the NLCs operational goals. This positions work will help ensure our facilities and infrastructure are safe functional and wellmanaged enabling our broader teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal people in the NLCs region.

What you will Bring:

You will have proven experience in property or facilities management and be confident navigating leases inspections and contractor coordination. A sound understanding of relevant legislation strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities will be key to your success. You are someone who communicates well builds positive working relationships and takes initiative to find practical solutions. Most importantly you are committed to contributing to a purposedriven organisation that supports Aboriginal people and communities.

In addition to this you will have:

  • Qualifications in Property Management and a minimum of three 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 or the ability to rapidly acquire.
  • Ability to lead and manage in a diverse and complex work environment with experience in balancing competing priorities and delegating tasks to deliver a positive outcome.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4WD vehicle or light aircraft if required.

  • Abase salary of $79903per annum plus14.5 superannuationandsalary sacrificingup to $15900 Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowanceof up to $4797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2630 without dependents.
    • 5weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmasclose down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service anAnnual airfarewith a net (in hand) value of $2961
