SEN PRACTITIONERS REQUIRED IMMEDIATE START Temporary term time only contract to 22nd July 2025
We are Grow Learn Play Project CIC. We are looking for a dedicatedperson to join our team. Wepride ourselves on a lively fun environment to work in and are committed to staff training and where possible progression with our organisation.
We run a nursery and community support program from theEast Street Centre at Calder Close. We care for children aged 0preschool in our main nursery and school age to 11 in our playscheme. We are a not for profit organisation meaning that we reinvest any profits arising from the nursery back into our provision staff training and support and growing our organisation. We have fourwell maintained and resourced rooms plus extensive gardens with allotment forest school sand pits and play equipment and outdoor classrooms encouraging a wide range of activities and experiences. We have videos on our website that will give you a virtual walkaround.
We are currently looking for an enthsiastic individual keen to work with children with special educational and emotional needs. You may be Qualified to Level 2 orLevel 3 in Childcare or have had some personal experience relevant to such a role. The majority of our children cared for by our Nurture team are on the autistic spectrum although this is not the only condition we encounter. We have a specialised team dedicated to the one to one care of these children.
Working hours are 84 on Monday and Tuesday 94.
The right candidate will be passionate about working with children with additional needs selfmotivated have the ability to selfmanage responsibilitiesand have an enthusiastic approach to their work with ideally English and Maths grade C or equivalent.
You will be working alongside other qualified members of staff in a friendly and supportive setting.
