About the Program

Candidates interested in communications in the financial and energy sectors are encouraged to apply for a position in FGS Houston office located in the heart of downtown. Known as the Energy Capital of the World Houston hosts top oil and gas companies renewable energy firms and energy technology startups as well as financial institutions investing in energy ranging from investment banks to private equity. The Houston office advises clients regarding sustainable and renewable energy solutions the energy transition and energy M&A. Amid the era of growing power demand Houston remains a leader in the global energy sector and a key driver of energy innovation.

Our Houston office is seeking highly motivated organized and detailoriented candidates for a fulltime summer internship. As an intern in our office you will have the opportunity to work on FGS Globals roster of clients across strategic corporate and financial communications engagement and gain handson experience working alongside our teams of dedicated and creative communications professionals.

This is a 10week paid internship $20.00 hour) beginning onJune 2^nd and ending August 8^th that will require you to work inperson in Houston.

Depending on performance a fulltime role after graduation may be available.

As part of the intern program you will:

• Learn and Develop Skills: Participate in an engaging internal training program covering various aspects of strategic communications including mergers and acquisitions crisis management shareholder activism government affairs corporate profile raising investor relations financial communications and more.
• Support Clients: Monitor marketmoving news conduct research create media lists and support FGS account teams as they help a global roster clients navigate strategic communications needs and challenges.
• Collaborate and Create: Team up with fellow interns on a mock new business pitch developing strategies and presenting ideas for a hypothetical client assignment.

Requirements:

• Rising Senior in undergraduate program
• Eagerness and desire to learn
• Strong writer and editor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel
• Interest in and enthusiasm for business finance communications and/or public relations
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
