Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for a Manual Grinder operator! $2 for 2nd shift! Training on days full benefits raises and an amazing company culture!
The Grinder Operator will:
- Set up centerless grinder machinery.
- Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect product to print looking for any flaws and defect of material including deburring if necessary.
- Move completed material to next workstation.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Required Skills
- Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
- Experience: 6 months 1year related experience or training.
- Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
- Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
- Ability to read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
- Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
