Job Description
Director of Water & Wastewater Engineering Savannah GA
We re hiring a Director of Water & Wastewater Engineering for a wellestablished firm doing impactful municipal work in southeast Georgia. This is a highvisibility role with longterm potential (think stock options and succession planning). You ll lead the charge on technical design team building client relationships and new business.
Must Haves:
- PE license in GA and SC (or ability to obtain in 6 months)
- 10 years in water/wastewater engineering and project management
- Solid knowledge of municipal infrastructure water modeling tools
- Experience managing teams and mentoring junior engineers
- Proven track record in business development or clientfacing roles
- Lift station pump station and treatment design experience
- Strong verbal and written communication and leadership instincts
Nice to Haves:
- Master planning experience
- Georgia permitting process experience
- Background in consulting firm leadership
- Eyes on a future principal/partner role
What You ll Do:
- Manage municipal W/WW projects from proposal to punch list
- Grow and lead a team of engineers and technical staff
- Act as a seller/doer developing new client relationships
- Oversee lift stations pump stations pipelines treatment systems
- Partner with permitting agencies and internal teams to deliver excellence
