Job Description

A vibrant school in Kensington with a strong focus on the Creative Arts is seeking a passionate and skilled Drama Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially ALevel Drama developing their performance and analytical skills. If you are a creative and enthusiastic Drama educator we would love to hear from you. Join our supportive Creative Arts faculty and contribute to the thriving Drama provision at our school.

Location: KensingtonRole: Drama Teacher (FullTime Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of dramatic techniques and theatrical styles.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Creative Arts to share best practice and enhance the Drama curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama.
  • Direct and support school drama productions and extracurricular drama clubs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Drama Theatre Studies or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Drama and theatre.
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students in Drama.
  • A passion for fostering creativity and performance skills through Drama.
