Job Description

A forwardthinking school in Kensington is seeking a passionate and skilled Psychology Teacher to join their expanding Social Sciences department. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Teacher to inspire students at Key Stage 4 and potentially KS5 developing their understanding of the human mind and behaviour. If you are a creative and enthusiastic Psychology educator we would love to hear from you. Join our supportive Social Sciences faculty and contribute to the growing Psychology provision at our school.

Location: KensingtonRole: Psychology Teacher (FullTime Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons across Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of psychological theories and research.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Social Sciences to share best practice and enhance the Psychology curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Psychology.
  • Potentially contribute to extracurricular Psychology clubs or discussions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.
  • Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 (experience at KS5 advantageous).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of Psychology.
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to make Psychology accessible and engaging.
  • A commitment to fostering critical thinking and an understanding of human behaviour in Psychology.
