About the Role
As a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) you will:

• Teach engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential progression to Key Stage 5.

• Deliver a curriculum focused on textile design garment construction sustainability and creative problemsolving.

• Encourage students to explore materials develop design ideas and produce highquality outcomes.

• Promote the value of textiles in both traditional and contemporary contexts.

• Work collaboratively with other Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) to support curriculum development.

• Foster a safe inclusive and inspiring classroom environment for learners of all abilities.

• Take part in enrichment activities such as fashion clubs exhibitions or competitions.
