Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant school for a oneyear maternity cover starting June 2025. This is a fulltime position and presents an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Early Years education.
The Role
As a Reception Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging highquality lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Supporting the development of childrens literacy numeracy and social skills
- Encouraging a love for learning through playbased and structured activities
- Collaborating with a team of dedicated Early Years professionals teaching assistants and parents
- Contributing to the schools positive inclusive ethos and overall development

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- A passion for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and parents
