Science Teacher ECT or Experienced Teacher Opportunity at a State School in Shrewsbury
Location: Shrewsbury
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (Main/Upper Pay Scale)
The Role
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced Science Teacher looking to join a forwardthinking and supportive state school in Shrewsbury We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our dedicated Science Department and contribute to the development of our students. Whether youre an ECT ready to begin your teaching journey or an experienced teacher eager for a new challenge we have a place for you.
As a Science Teacher youll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility to progress to Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and development. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team deliver engaging lessons and inspire students to explore and excel in the sciences.

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:
Holds QTS and a relevant degree in a Science subject (Chemistry Biology Physics or a closely related field).
Is passionate about teaching Science and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Whether an ECT or an experienced teacher is committed to developing their teaching practice and contributing to the growth of the Science Department.
Can deliver engaging and wellstructured Science lessons creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to contribute to the wider school community.
