About the Role
As an Art Teacher your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the possibility to teach ALevel content.
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in a range of media such as drawing painting printmaking and digital art within your role as Art Teacher.
Inspiring students to think critically develop their creativity and express their artistic vision.
Providing constructive feedback and support to ensure students make strong progress in Art.
Playing a key role in the broader life of the Art Department including leading art clubs organizing exhibitions and offering extracurricular opportunities.
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum share best practices and continually develop your own teaching skills as an Art Teacher.
What Were Looking For
We are looking for an Art Teacher (ECT or experienced) who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Has experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the ability to teach ALevel content.
Is passionate about art education and has strong subject knowledge with a creative approach to teaching.
Can engage and challenge students of all abilities maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour in the classroom.
Is committed to being a collaborative team player and actively contributing to the success of the Art Department.
Has excellent communication skills and is dedicated to professional growth and development as an Art Teacher.
