Glartek a VCbacked company founded in 2017 is a global leader of Augmented and Connected Worker solutions for the Manufacturing and Assetintensive industries and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of shop floor procedures performed by humanas related to operationns safety quality production and training. Our innovative software combines the Augmented Reality (AR) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility optimization and reassurance of field operations. Glartek has offices in Lisbon and Leiria Portugal. The company has large customers such as EDP and Daimler.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working in close colaboration with the product and customer teams. This intense and demanding role will require you to be involved in R&D activities from concept to completion. As the ideal candidate your goal is to be a versatile highenergy and problem solving driven. You will be involved in fastpaced daytoday mobile and wearables development using the latest technology stacks an and the best pratices of a quick quality and high output software development life cycle. Tasks
- Design and develop Flutterbased mobile apps for Android and iOS.
- Build custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and iOS.
- Test Flutter components on multiple form factors and platforms from mobile to web.
- Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle alongside teammates.
- Collaborate with design product and backend teams to translate user stories into technical solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines unit testing and performance monitoring tools.
- Review identify and fix code errors and performance issues.
- Work independently and use creativity to develop new Flutter solutions.
- Ensure products conform to high industry standards.
- Guide junior and midlevel engineers through best practices code structure and problemsolving techniques.
- Stay current with Flutter/Dart best practices and ecosystem trends.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a similar field.
- 1 years of experience designing and building sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter and Dart.
- Knowledge of scripting session management and mobile UI/UX development.
- Experience integrating native modules and platform channels.
- Experience with Flutter test frameworks (e.g. Patrol) is valued.
- Unity knowledge is valued.
- GraphQL knowledge is valued.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab and CI/CD tools (e.g. Fastlane).
- Experience with performance memory and space optimization.
- Good communication skills.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
