Job Description
Job Details:
- Location: Rochester NY 14617
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1725 $1875
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Shift: 8hr Days Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic Xray procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort and explaining the process.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure radiation safety practices are strictly followed to protect patients and staff.
- Accurately document patient data and procedure details in the medical records system.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate image interpretation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program required.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required.
- Valid New York State license required.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Xray Technologist.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50miles radius qualify for travel pay.
