Service Setting: Hospital

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 04/30/2025 Ongoing

Clinical Shift Schedule: 7a 7p and 7p 7a (MD); 11a 11p (NP/PA)

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: 50 encounters/day 18000 annualized)

Admissions: Yes

Rounding: Included

Case Mix: Emergency Medicine

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: Level 4

Support Staff Available: NP/PA 12hour shifts)

Reason for Coverage: Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General Emergency Medicine Procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active MI license and DEA required

Certifications: ABEM certification required

Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience with case logs

Other Qualifications: Clean file required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct emergency care to patients in a hospital setting

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Collaborate with NPPA and other clinical staff

Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Work flexible shifts including days and nights as assigned
