Receiving Supervisor

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all receiving storage and replenishment activities to ensure efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. This role focuses on developing and deploying best practices to optimize daytoday operations including inventory control customer backorder recovery space planning thirdparty logistics 3PL) management optimizing pick locations and supporting new product launches. The leader in this role will drive operational excellence through coaching mentoring and the application of lean principles to achieve key objectives related to safety quality productivity cost customer service and inventory accuracy.

Shift: Monday Thursday 5:30 AM 4:00 PM You will normally work this shift however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of the receiving and putaway team ensuring efficiency in receiving storage inventory control backorder recovery space utilization and 3PL management.
• Lead the picking and replenishment team ensuring accurate inventory control ontime delivery and escalation of quality issues as needed.
• Drive achievement of key operational metrics related to safety quality productivity cost customer service and inventory accuracy.
• Implement best practices through lean methodologies including Kaizen events value stream mapping problemsolving A3 action planning and standard work.
• Leverage datadriven decisionmaking to optimize workflow improve customer service and enhance storage efficiency. Proactively identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in material flow.
• Regularly audit current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and reinforce a continuous improvement mindset across the team.
• Lead mentor and develop a team of 2025 employees fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications :

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in manufacturing warehousing or distribution
• Experience with Lean Management
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Expertise with Excel PowerPoint
