About the role
Are you a passionate psychiatrist with leadership experience ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people experiencing early psychosis Join our headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) program in Lutruwita Tasmania and lead a transformative mental health service that gives young people a chance to recover and thrive.

As the Clinical Director youll:
- Lead clinical services for the headspace Early Psychosis program ensuring highquality evidencebased care for young people.
- Provide clinical leadership and professional governance to medical staff helping them grow and thrive in their roles.
- Collaborate closely with managers to ensure seamless coordinated mental health care for young people at risk or experiencing psychosis.
- Maintain strong relationships with Tasmanian Health to ensure efficient access to emergency care and inpatient services.
- Oversee and support the EPPIC model of care ensuring it is implemented with high fidelity to provide the best outcomes.

Qualifications :
To excel in this role you will have:
- Medical qualifications and full registration with AHPRA along with Fellowship in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
- A proven track record in clinical psychiatry with extensive experience in developing and implementing programs for people experiencing mental illness.
- A strong understanding of the Tasmanian mental health sector and relevant legislation.
- Management and administrative experience (desirable but not essential) to help lead the service and implement strategic plans.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and educate multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
