As our Financial Planning and Analysis Manager youll play a critical role in enabling the business to plan prioritise and execute budgets effectively by acting as the key advisor of financial and commercial performance through timely factbased datadriven insights that support critical decisions.
Here youll be responsible for driving the annual planning owns the operating plan internal management reporting and financial analysis to make NEXTDC predictable and commercially driven. In addition to this youll support the Finance strategy and company north star Revenue CAGR Market Cap and ROIC.
As the team manager youll be leading a team to support the delivery of financial analysis and reporting as part of planning and forecasting processes
What youll do:
- Own key components of the annual planning and quarterly reforecast cycles
- Build maintain and improve financial models
- Prepare monthly quarterly and other periodic management reporting to stakeholders.
- Drive the monthend effort to review financial performance identify key variances and communicate impact to department leads.
- Colead and develop market intelligence capabilities and communicate industry trends to senior leaders to support company and divisional strategy
- Lead projects that improve business ability to make better data driven insights
- Guide and provide support to direct reports to ensure efficient operation of the function including reports and analysis
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a business partner involved in financial analysis budgeting forecasting and data analysis
- Demonstrated experience of owning a business function as a finance partner
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in financial systems
- Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related field
What youll bring:
- Proficient in a range of data engineering and analysis skills including advanced Excel SQL (or other query language variants) statistical analysis methods (R or python) and visualisation tools such as Power BI and
- Technical understanding in financial systems with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to convey financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders at different levels
- Ability to work under pressure adapt to changing circumstances and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to build and maintain productive and durable working relationships with stakeholders
- Positive attitude with personal drive and performance focus
