Certified Caregiver

Shift: Variable

The Certified Caregiver assists residents in tasks that are essential to their daily care and livelihood. A typical day may include responding to emergency calls and situations; documenting and reporting care provided; and transporting residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living such as grooming oral hygiene bath/shower hair and maintaining resident apartments
• Transport residents within the community to other departments and/or functions.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations
• Obtain vital signs heights and weights.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this position we believe that you need the following experiences strengths and skills:

• A big smile eagerness to learn and compassion for our Residents.
• If you are under the age of 18 then you must provide proper schoolwork authorization.
• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed all state educational requirements.
• Must maintain first aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training may be facilitated by the community.
• If not certified must be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire if required.
