Job Description
- Liaise with the clients external auditors administrator HR/payroll and other service providers
- Work with clients to deliver outsourced CFO and related services to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds
- Collaborate with team members & clients and provide daily operational support
- Assist with creation of financial models budget to actuals provide adhoc financial analysis and participate in adhoc projects
- Review NAVs allocations investor statements and reconciliations
- Review and/or prepare expense & accrual schedules management fee calculations and incentive allocations
- Fund and management company financial statement preparation
- Maintain accounting practices for assigned clients
- Research accounting principles and advise team(s) and/or clients as needed
- Assist in evaluating current financial and accounting process for new clients propose improvements and help coordinate implementation efforts
- Assist in the opening of clients brokerage and bank accounts
- Arrange coordinate and participate in weekly monthly or as needed conference calls
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA preferred
- 4 years of experience in alternative investment management industry (hedge fund private equity venture capital real estate)
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Passionate about working in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
- Hardworking selfstarter dedicated punctual and personable
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions to solve problems quickly and competently
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with QuickBooks OpenAir Expensify are a plus
Additional Information :
Salary based on experience and location $80000$100000 and full benefits package offered.
