The Design Manager for THE LINE Design team will oversee and manage the creation of neighborhood master plans and architectural designs for the full spectrum of asset types for THE LINE Neighborhoods. The Senior Design Manager will manage a Neighborhood architectural design consultant and be responsible for organizing coordinating and ensuring the design work is executed according to NEOM THE LINE Plan of Work and Consultants scope of services schedule quality and budget. The Senior Design Manager is driving the Quality Assurance and Requirements compliance in close collaboration with the Design Directors and client team. The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for the design of a neighborhood encompassing approximately 500000 m of assets.
Reporting to: Senior Design Manager THE LINE
Responsibilities:
- Guide designers reviewing designs and ensure that project requirements are met.
- Arrange and/or facilitate design coordination and design review meetings and workshops.
- Design Management Coordination including Core Real Estate Asset Design NonCommon Asset.
- Design Faade Design Sustainability and Public Realm Design.
- Quality Assurance of design and implementation of the Vision for the Line.
- Manage compliance with Design and Deliverables Requirements Development Control Regulations (DCRs) and Design KPIs.
- Manage Design KPI Register Risk Register and Safety in Design Register.
- Manage Design Review comments and responses and Stage Review comment closeout.
- Support Design Directors in the coordination of Interfaces with the City between different.
- Neighborhoods and with Anchor Assets.
- Manage the design in accordance with the development program and Initial Asset Briefs.
- Design Review: Gatekeeper for the qualitative architectural design review.
- Responsible as part of the Senior Design Management team for delivering THE LINE Architecture obligation including stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.

- Responsible as part of the Senior Management team for delivering THE LINE Architecture mandate including stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.
- Managing the design by creative approach and aesthetic design.
- Work alongside THE LINE Design Group Delivery team Project team on design delivery from concept design to completion.
- Responsible to deliver the design of various architectural typologies: residential mixed use commercial public healthcare educational civic and cultural etc.

- Acts as a reviewer of qualitative architectural design review process providing analysis comment and recommendation to Executive Management.
- Management and oversight of Architects and Designers including Managers and Professionals within the department.
- Draft comprehensive architectural sets from concept until detailed design documents.
- Manage Design and Asset Brief compliance ensuring completeness and accuracy including design coordination within architecture and across disciplines.
- Support the development and review of architectural asset briefs.
- Prepare SoW specifications reports and related data tables.
- Develop design manuals and standard design documents.
- Manage preparation of and check materials schedules sample boards and mockups.
- Manage preparation of and check FF&E schedules and sourcing including samples and mockups.

- Construction experience is preferred.
- Extensive project experience with emphasis on large projects and complex programs.
- Understanding of financial and commercial management of projects.

Qualifications:
