Legal Counsel

As Legal Counsel at Sobi you will provide a broad range of legal advice to support the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products worldwide. You will work closely with crossfunctional business teams proactively identifying and managing legal risks ensuring compliance and supporting strategic partnerships.

This position is based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm Sweden reporting directly to VP Global Legal Affair.

Your main responsibilities will include:

    Providing proactive legal advice on a wide range of commercial regulatory and data privacy matters including identifying highrisk areas and delivering training to the business.
    Drafting reviewing negotiating and approving a variety of agreements typical for the life sciences industry such as licensing collaboration R&D clinical trial services purchasing and healthcare interactions agreements.
    Acting as an internal legal expert on healthcare and patient interaction regulations digital regulations (including AI and information security) and supporting the creation of templates and training materials.
    Reviewing and approving promotional and nonpromotional materials to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations.
    Supporting alliance management and strategic collaborations with third parties as well as managing disputes and competitor complaints when needed.
    Continuously improving legal tools templates and internal processes and liaising with external counsel as required.

What were looking for
    A university degree in law.
    At least 57 years of relevant experience preferably within a pharmaceutical biotech medical device company or a toptier law firms life sciences department.
    Strong international contract negotiation and drafting skills preferably within the life sciences sector.
    Fluent Swedish and English language skills.
    Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations data privacy antitrust and digital/AI regulations is desirable.
    You should possess a practical businessoriented approach with strong communication negotiation and influencing skills. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies are critical.
