Join Wolverine Fuels as an Environmental Engineering Technician where you will be at the forefront of environmental compliance activities for both surface and underground mining operations. Your role will involve performing essential field and office environmental engineering functions while providing technical support to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Office GIS and scientific data collection will be key as you oversee environmental compliance activities at the mine site. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in environmental engineering while making a meaningful impact on preserving the natural beauty of the mountains surrounding Scofield Utah.
To succeed as an Environmental Engineering Technician at Wolverine Fuels you must possess proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Office GIS and scientific data collection to support field and office environmental engineering functions. The role requires overseeing compliance activities for mining operations conducting fieldwork providing computer support and managing regulatory inspectors. You will be responsible for greenhouse gas calculations regulatory report development and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two years of experience with AutoCAD and Windows fieldwork experience in water monitoring and greenhouse gas monitoring. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for managing multiple tasks independently. This position reports to the Engineering Manager/Senior Environmental Engineer.
