River Experience Director
High level emotional intelligence
Active in team dynamics conflict prevention/resolution and identifying customer needs

Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customers
Support 5day whitewater treks with a vehicle and trailer.
Drive gear staff and participants to and from river.
Load and unload gear staff and participants to and from river.
Assist in cleaning packing and inventory of gear needed for trek.
Maintain trek equipment in an organized and good working condition.
Ensure safety and quality standards remain at the highest levels
Maintain a clean organized inspected neat and safe work area
Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
21 years of age or older
Be or become certified in Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR
Must be able to secure a Summit Driving permit. Required driving record submittance
Required: Experience driving and backing loaded flatbed trailers.
Preferred: Commercial Driver License
Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Assist all participants to complete the New River Experience
Regularly show appreciation to coworkers via written and verbal methods
Participate in team activities
Up to 8 hours a day of either standing walking driving and the ability to lift 70 lbs.
Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE
