We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with an electrical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes electrical engineering and instrumentation. This role involves optimizing production processes ensuring product quality and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement.
In this role:
- Design develop and optimize manufacturing processes for instrumentation products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment and product issues.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Develop and coordinate relationships with 3rd party equipment vendors.
- Estimate costs for electrical/automated systems to support project budgeting.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- Proactively address issues impacting quality delivery and productivity.
On your first day well expect that youll have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Process/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferably in the instrumentation industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems components and automation technologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Python and/or LabVIEW HMI development and SCADA systems
- Experience with Linux and version control systems (GIT)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with automation systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of robotics and machine vision systems.
