Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionaryHead of Development and Tech to lead our software development teams in Johannesburg. This pivotal role will drive the architecture development and delivery of enterpriselevel solutions in the fastpaced iGaming sector.
As Head of Technology you will oversee the planning design and implementation of scalable highperformance software solutions. You will lead a team of skilled developers while collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
- 10 years of software development experience with 3 years in leadership (B2B/iGaming preferred)
- Expertise in .NET Core WebAPI SQL and Umbraco
- Strong background in microservices eventdriven architecture and cloud platforms
- Exceptional problemsolving and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for innovation and staying ahead of emerging technologies
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor frontend backend DevOps and BI development teams
- Design and optimize robust architectures using C#/.NET Umbraco and microservices
- Establish coding standards security protocols and performance best practices
- Work closely with product UX and business teams to deliver strategic solutions
- Drive automation and efficiency to enhance deployment speed and reduce technical debt
- Recruit and develop top engineering talent
