DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individualized and smallgroup reading instruction for students identified as needing support.
Use assessment data to design and implement targeted intervention plans aligned with gradelevel curriculum and literacy standards.
Administer screening and progress monitoring assessments including benchmark and diagnostic tools.
Track and document student progress adjusting instruction as needed based on data and observation.
Communicate regularly with teachers administrators and parents regarding student progress and instructional strategies.
Participate in student support and intervention team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate services.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance and interventions.
Support the Catholic mission of the school and contribute to a positive faithfilled school culture.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: Bachelors Degree in Education Literacy or related field. Reading Specialist endorsement preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in a classroom small group setting or as a oneonone interventionist.
