Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business We invite you to join our team as an Outside Sales Engineer for South Germany within the Flow Control organization in the region near Munich Augsburg or Memmingen.

This position is part of Emersons Isolation Valves which is working to grow our business in Bavaria. You will work with existing customers and approach new potential customers to tailor our solutions to their needs. If you like to travel and engage with customers by providing high levels of service this might be the right opportunity for you!

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Establish expand and acquire new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support in the field of valve technology in the region
  • Actively visit and support existing customers
  • Prepare customer inquiries for processing by the back office
  • Manage and further develop Emersons market position by understanding the customers business drivers & goals and keeping up to date with their situations
  • Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product / value / period
  • Understand and work in team project form for integrated requests
  • Participate in relevant industry events

You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings.

You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales / business development experiencein a B2B technical environment
  • Affinity towards technology and innovations and good technical understanding
  • Proficiency in English and German language
  • Availability to frequently travel in the assigned territory
  • Driving license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Matrix organization experience
  • Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (isolation valves actuators) and understanding of similar industries breweries refineries chemical petrochemical steel manufacturers resellers EPCs OEMs)
