Senior Accountant KENNESAW GA (MUST be able to commute daily)
TE Certified Electrical Plumbing Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced and detailorientedSenior Accountantto join the existing accounting department in our Kennesaw office. We are an established 20yearold Home Services Company with exciting growth opportunities for the right candidate!
The ideal candidate will assist in the overall success of the accounting department ensure accurate financial reporting and support the overall financial health of the company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and professional development. Experience with Accounts Payable Cost of Goods Sold Inventory Management Excel and QuickBooks Desktop is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller (as needed) in overseeing daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
- Reconcile complex accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Support monthend and yearend close processes.
- Assist (as needed) in the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial planning/analytics.
- Other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as necessary.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the service & construction trades industry (HVAC plumbing electrical sewer other relatable trades etc.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop or any other financial ERP system (experience with Impact Financial & Service Titan a plus!.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suites (preferably prior usage of MS Excel).
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
TE Certified is a residential home service business specializing in electrical plumbing and HVAC services and replacements. We service the metro Atlanta area and surrounding locations with branches in Roswell Lawrenceville and Kennesaw.
