San Jose Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I to assist the nursing staff with comprehensive inpatient care and treatment within our new 133bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital. San Jose Behavioral Health is where adults and adolescents can receive comprehensive inpatient treatment for a range of behavioral and mental health disorders. Conveniently located in the heart of San Jose the hospital is easily accessible to residents in Santa Clara County San Mateo County and Alameda County. The Hospital campus is situated amid gently rolling hills and features serene views of beautiful natural surroundings.

THIS POSITION IS Part Time 32 Hours (Day Shift 7:00AM 3:30PM Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday)
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer one year experience working with the specific population of the facility.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
First Aid CPR deescalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
COMPENSATION
Compensation for roles at San Jose Behavioral Health varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location role skill set and level of required by local law San Jose Behavioral Health provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.
SJBH Range $23.00/hour $28.00/hour DOE ** Additional Shift Differentials will apply PM/NOC**
