THE ROLE & THE TEAM
The Commercial Pricing team is at the core of the wholesale planning and trading activities at Zalando. Our mandate is to drive and translate localised strategies into commercial pricing incentives for all our customers.
As a Pricing analyst in the Commercial Pricing team your role will be to enable the trading teams to make fast and lean decisions and the local pricing teams in their mission of winning locally by owning the internal tooling landscape. Consequently you will have a major impact on the overall success of the Commercial Pricing team and the Markets organisation in general.

our diversity & inclusion strategy: employee resource groups: YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED: You improve scale and unify our tooling infrastructure and reporting landscape supporting budget planning forecasting and intraweek steering processes and monthly/quarterly business reviews. As an example you will be responsible for developing our commercial pricing reporting solution for Cyber week. You create simple and innovative solutions that enable the trading teams to quickly turn insights into actions and generate learnings for the future using a single source of truth. You are the main point of contact with other engineering and product teams with respect to nonalgorithmic and reporting topics. You act as a sparring partner for the trading teams supporting and challenging them in order to achieve the best outcome for our customers. You support the leadership team with the defining and executing the operational plan and commercial pricing portfolios in order to improve our trading capabilities in the long run. 35 years of work experience in pricing online retail finance or related fields you have a strong analytics and business background. Proficiency skills in Excel Google Suite SQL S3 Python and Github. Microstrategy knowledge would be an advantage. You are able to set up data pipelines that connect to large and complex datasets. A degree (Bachelor and/or Master) in Econometrics Economics Business Administration Engineering or its equivalent. Ability to effectively drive projects endtoend and comfortably manage many stakeholders with different interests. Selfdriven and resultoriented you have a handson mentality and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You are a strategic thinker with impressive problem solving skills and critical mindset Great communication skills you are well structured.
