To meet our current corporate needs we would like to bring to our team a Software Engineer
Some of your most important tasks could be summarized as following:
- Producing efficient reliable and secure code.
- Reusing already implemented core components to speed up development.
- Undertaking specific tasks from the team leads and eventually produce own detailed designs of implementation approach.
- Identifying and fixing performance problems and security vulnerabilities on the produced code.
- Specifying and performing unit tests to ensure code integrity.
- Performing integration tests to assure quality of produced software.
- Identifying and proposing improvement opportunities in the code to promote maintainability performance and security.
- Contributing to the creation of the system design and functional specifications.
Job requirements
To be a successful candidate your professional profile should match the following criteria:
- You hold a University or College Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant field including Mathematics and Physics.
- Previous professional experience for this position is important! So you need to have at least two 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience inPython C/C.
- Linux OS and Bash Scripting.
- Relational databases (i.e. MySQL PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Experience with Socket Programming and Communication Protocols.
- Excellent command of the English and Greek language both written and spoken.
- Working under pressure to meet tight deadlines whenever needed.
- in our Company we work above everything else as a TEAM. You are an excellent team player.
- Completed military obligations for male candidates.
To strengthen your candidature here are some nice to have skills:
- Previous Experience with Content Delivery Systems.
- Experience in NoSQL databases (Redis) and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Application and HTTP Servers (Wildfly Nginx Lighttpd)
- Experience in containerized applications using Docker Docker compose
- Experience in Version Control & Task Management systems (Git Jira)
- Familiarity with Software Building and deployment platforms (Bamboo or Jenkins)
