Job Description
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer you will help shape and implement our cloud security strategy and controls. You will be part of the Platform Security team collaborating closely with Infosec and Infra partner teams to help secure our public cloud environment. Youll be operating with a high level of autonomy with the opportunity to make a significant impact on key infrastructure powering the platform.
You Will:
- Implement and manage organizational security controls to put safeguards in place for developers.
- Build systems to manage our cloud posture and enforce our cloud security baseline.
- Build services and tooling to create paved roads that engineers can use to move faster and more securely.
- Write detections for our cloud environments.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to design and implement securebydefault designs for cloud infrastructure.
You Have:
- 4 years: of relevant professional experience.
- Experience writing and maintaining: code in at least one programming language such as Python Golang or C# and you are eager to learn new languages and technologies.
- Deep understanding: of cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts.
- Familiarity with: with container security.
- Understanding of: network security concepts and best practices and how to enable cloud resource connectivity safely.
You Are:
- Collaborative: You love working with your direct team and crossfunctional partners.
- Thoughtful of build vs. buy decisions: You can build solutions but you also review what tools are available.
- Comfortable with ambiguity:You can gather data and make informed decisions when there is no clear answer.
