The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Youth Treatment Services to oversee our behavioral health programs serving adolescents and their families in Santa Barbara County.

As the Director of Youth Treatment Services you will lead innovative and impactful programs that address substance use mental health challenges and cooccurring conditions in a communitydriven environment.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree or PhD in health care administration social work psychosocial rehabilitation psychology counseling or related field
- Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) Clinical Psychologist Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT) Clinical Social Worker (ACSW).
- Two years of experience in program management and/ or in supervising staff
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a commitment to creating an environment that champions best practices and supports client recovery goals.
- An understanding of individual and group counseling chemical dependency withdrawal symptoms and pharmacology across major psychoactive substances.
- Skilled in professional written and verbal communication across diverse audiences including legal medical and community stakeholders as well as clients from all backgrounds.
- Strong organizational administrative and data reporting skills with working knowledge of regulations funding sources and treatment program evaluation.
- Builds strong partnerships with community agencies and families; brings a proactive teamfirst mindset focused on continuous improvement and achieving positive client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and management for all youth services in Noth and South Santa Barbara County including; Diversion mental health alcohol and drug treatment and schoolbased services.
- Plans directs and evaluates program services that are offered to children youth and family members impacted directly or indirectly by alcohol and other drug use and cooccurring conditions.
- Selects and supervises staff including licensed and nonlicensed professionals interns and associates trainees and clerical support staff. Ensure they meet their oversight requirements including training.
- Participates with Behavioral Wellness Quality Assurance for compliance with federal and state program and treatment documentation and reporting standards. Follow Title 22 Guidelines & SB County Behavioral Wellness policies for client care and documentation
- Represent CADA on committees composed of multiagency representatives working to coordinate the provision of alcohol drug and mental health services to youth.
- Make presentations to various organizations to promote and advocate for related programs and initiatives.
This is a fulltime exempt position with benefits including health dental vision and life insurance; retirement contribution; and paid time off (vacation sick holiday). Some opportunity for scheduling flexibility to be agreed upon by the Executive Director with programmatic needs in mind.
Salary range: $83200 $101825 commensurate with experience. Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English will be considered for additional compensation
