About the Role:
In this role youll support the Business Development organization as we prosecute business growth in the CounterUnmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) and CUxS domain. As a recognized domain expert you will develop and execute customer and market strategies to enable opportunity identification and capture. This role will support and inform the strategic direction and growth of the CUAS and CUxS business across the L3Harris Enterprise. The BD Principal will lead the development and of a tactical market entry strategy including sales distribution channels partnerships and alliances to position the company as a leader in the CUxS market. The role involves influencing senior leadership on new concepts and practices recommending and implementing strategies and developing operational plans to achieve short to longterm business goals. Additionally the Principal will bring build and maintain strong relationships with customers industry partners and internal stakeholders. Advanced management and leadership skills broad business knowledge strong financial acumen and extensive experience across related disciplines are required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support modify and enhance our current CUAS market strategy in order to drive it for success and growth
- Be the goto expert on CUxS and UxS trends
- Develop and recommend tactics and strategies that directly impact the achievement of overall business or functional results
- Build partnerships with industry leaders government agencies and key stakeholders to push the boundaries of whats possible.
- Conduct thorough research on global trends competitive landscape customer needs and technological advancements in the CUxS space.
- Develop and maintain a clear actionable roadmap to grow the CUxS business identifying key market opportunities customer segments and partnership potential.
- Drive the identification of new product offerings business models and solutions that enhance the companys market position in the CUxS market
- Work closely with the BD and sales team to develop and implement strategies to drive substantial growth in orders and revenue.
- Collaborate with product development engineering marketing and operations teams to ensure the successful design development and deployment of CUxS solutions
- Building strong cross functional relationships and leverage them to achieve results.
- Monitor and assess performance against plans (schedule and financial)
- Establish grow and maintain close customer relationships
- Establish the direction for new processes systems solutions and products by conceptualizing reasoning and interpreting innovative solutions

Requirements:
- Experience with commercial business models. Prior experience with Defense companies is preferred.
- Prior business development strategy or sales experience required.
- Proven experience leading captures or large pursuits required.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strategies and tactics to capture market share
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with leaders across the organization.
- Superior strategic organizational analytical and abstract reasoning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven record of success in a fastpaced business environment with a strong sense of ownership accountability and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong orientation to details and the ability to make quick informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization and work effectively across functions within a matrix environment.
- Strategic thinker with experience in developing plans and executing both short and longterm results.
- Active Security Clearance Secret required TS(SCI) desired

Desired Education and Experiences
- Broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines within the organization combining theory past practical experience and the organizations business practices.
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12years of prior related experience. MBA is preferred.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $136000.00 MIN $253500.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
