Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Entry Level Molten Salt Engineer to work on our Advanced Technology of Molten Salts team. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials & Fuels Complex (MFC) with every Friday off.
A handson Engineer in the Advanced Technologies of Molten Salts Department supports the development of cuttingedge technologies in relation to molten salt chemistry and molten salt reactor technologies at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC). You will apply engineering and research principles to implement and execute research projects experiments and technologies in radiological and nuclear laboratories. You will will work with facility management engineers other researchers health and safety professionals and subject matter experts to write work control documents and procedures in order to implement and execute molten salt experiments. You will be expected to become qualified to work in radiological gloveboxes in facilities at the Materials and Fuels Complex. Working under the supervision of principal researchers to perform work in a safe and compliant manner and to meet research objectives.
