Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Management Intern to join our team in the residential property management field. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain handson experience in residential property management while working closely with the corporate level supporting the Director of Property Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn possess excellent communication skills and work well in a fastpaced teamoriented environment. This internship will provide a comprehensive understanding of property management from tenant relations to corporatelevel operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Tenant Relations: Assist in addressing tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Leasing Support: Help in leasing activities including preparing lease documents conducting property showings and supporting moveins and moveouts.
    • Property Inspections: Assist in performing regular inspections to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Maintenance Coordination: Help track and coordinate maintenance requests ensuring timely responses to propertyrelated issues.
    • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service handling tenant requests and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • CorporateLevel Responsibilities (Working with the Director of Property Operations):
    • Operational Support: Assist the Director of Property Operations in overseeing the performance of multiple properties within the portfolio.
    • Process Improvement: Help identify and implement best practices for improving efficiency and operations at the property level.
    • Reporting and Analytics: Support in preparing operational reports including occupancy leasing and financial performance for the executive team.
    • Strategy : Assist in executing corporate strategies at the property level ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • CrossDepartment Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments within the company to ensure smooth property operations and alignment with corporate goals.
    • Financial Reporting: Support the tracking of rents collected processing invoices and helping with budget preparation and financial reports.
    • Marketing & Advertising: Assist in marketing efforts including creating listings for available units posting on rental platforms and contributing to social media campaigns.
    • Project Assistance: Provide support for property improvement projects including coordinating with contractors and tracking project timelines.
    • Administrative Tasks: Provide support with administrative duties such as filing data entry and organizing property documents.
  • All Other Duties Assigned

Must hold a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation for travel to and from work as well as for program needs.
