**Per Diem** Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) openings in Texarkana TX Apply Now!
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group has a wonderful per diem opportunity available for a experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join a wellestablished practice providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana TX. Christus St. Michaels Hospital was ranked by Modern Healthcare as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare in 2017.
- The LevelIII NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
- The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2100 deliveries annually.
- NNPs provide 24hour inhouse coverage and they also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation nitric oxide oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.
Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a masters degree and 1 year postgrad clinical experience required
- TX license or active IMLC preferred
- Certified NNP with recent experience required
Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W2 per diem position.
