In this paid internship youwill use applied computer science data science and modeling techniques to advance research in digital twins and related technologies for nuclear energy and security missions. You will learn about the research and development lifecycle and grow your skills through working on focused technical tasks. Reporting to the Digital Twin and Data Frameworks department which leads research that advances stateoftheart capabilities and approaches to digital threads and the integration and management of systems and data enabling digital twin and similar technologies.. This team works a 9x80 schedule and works onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree Program enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems Computer Information Systems or related
A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:
Undergraduate Internships $26.16/hour $31.47/hour)
