Job Overview
In Coupang Ads we build one of the fastest growing advertising platforms based on Coupangs ecommerce platform. Coupang is investing in building a worldclass online marketing business where we run relevant ads and promotions across our website and mobile app.
Offsite Advertising is a product where we offer the opportunity to integrate advertising beyond Coupangs website and apps to Coupangs affiliate partners and other popular advertising channels in South Korea and beyond such as Google Facebook Naver Coupangs affiliate partner network and various ad exchange networks.
What You Will Do
We are looking for backend engineers who have domain knowledge in ad tech systems and can work on distributed systems and data processing pipelines to build endtoend integration solutions with external advertising channels. Work includes but is not limited to:
- Design and develop advertising solutions with Coupangs partners and affiliates
- Design and develop advertising API automation with major online advertising companies
- Process offsite advertising performance data in Coupangs advertising platform
- Analyze improve and optimize offsite advertising quality
- Oncall and maintenance for production systems
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or electrical/electronic engineering mathematics or equivalent
- 4 years of experiences working on ad tech systems building and maintaining online advertising products
- Handson experience in building data processing pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with handling large data volumes in a distributed environment
- Ability and desire to drive solid design work on distributed systems
- Experience in building search and recommendation systems and applications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang your base pay is one part of your total base pay for this position ranges from $142000 / year in our lowest geographic market to $309000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending onjobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
