Position Overview
Illinois River Correctional Center is seeking a detailed and energetic office associate to provide clerical support in the administrative office. This role will be responsible for providing clerical support to administrative staff performing receptionist duties as well as preparing and tracking various monthly reports. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply.
Essential Functions
- Keyboards a variety of reports forms correspondence and various other documents.
- Serves as a receptionist.
- Serves as monthly report coordinator.
- Serves as clerical support and assists Administrative Office Staff.
- Maintains hostage photographs and fingerprint cards for all employees.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two 2 years of office experience.
- Requires ability to keyboard accurately 45 words per minute.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires ability to pass the IDOC/IDJJ background check.
- Requires ability to pass a drug screen. The use of unauthorized by an employee regardless of position held is prohibited.
