Manages and coordinates administrative functions within an assigned office or division. Provides direct clinical care in accordance with established policies procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization in assigned clinic.
Job Responsibilities
Assists with developing specific department goals standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management staff satisfaction and conflict management.
Performs and oversees scheduling recruitment and payroll.
Monitors department budgets and contracts regulatory compliance and vendor relations.
Determines and justifies needs for systems equipment and supply purchases monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for wellcoordinated patient care.
Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with patient/family and members of the healthcare team.
Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age culture and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in licensed clinical specialty required upon hire
A combination of education training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience required
BLS Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position AND
Current licensure or certification in clinical specialty preferred
