Job Description

Description of Work

This position will oversee the inoffice processes such as license printing incoming document management customer service and be directly involved in enforcement administrative and communications functions of the school department as well as coordinate with the Business Director to ensure all school and shop inspection staff are supported. Through familiarity with office processes must be able to identify and propose resolutions to common issues. This position serves the public by supporting incoming consumer complaints and aiding in assignment. This position must discern when to escalate problems to a supervisors attention. The Administrative Associate II will be responsible for assisting consumers the regulated public students school administrators inspectors and Board administration with tracking and analyzing enforcement and school related data. In addition to the administrative functions this position will be responsible for managing work flow during peak call time renewals enrollment/graduation times may support student identification for the entire department including but not limited to researching identity issues school audits inspection reports investigations and enforcement measures.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Competencies

  • Demonstrated abilities to proficiently use correct grammar spelling and vocabulary to compose/proofread correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain policies procedures and laws.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and/or NCBCA database.
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing detailed documents and records for accuracy and authenticity.
  • Ability in clear communications regarding Board specific requirements to a variety of audiences.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
