Job Description
Harmony Gardens is hiring aFullTime EveningTrained Medication Aide (TMA)to join our team in our new building in Maplewood MN. We offer onthejob training!
Our new campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park) and a variety of dining options. Our new stateoftheartsenior living community includes independent living assisted living memory care skilled nursing and longterm care options.
Evening Shift: 2:30pm to 11pm. 64 hours per 2 week pay period working in longterm care.
Pay Range: $20.45 $24.86 / hour depending on experience.
TMA/ CNA responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies.
- Review and follow a written care plan.
- Measure and record vital signs including pulse temperature and blood pressure on new computerized software.
- Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
- Complete some work as a CNA.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Must be on the MN nursing assistant registry and have a valid TMA from a community or technical college.
- Must have completed a minimum of 1000 hours as a CNA.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
