Job Description
Hours: 7am3:30pm MonFri plus OT
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: 574 Pederson Rd. Katy TX 77494
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Assembly Supervisor the Assembly Tech performs various processes using hand tools to complete the assembly of products in accordance with company policies and procedures. This is a nonsupervisory position.
Responsibilities:
General:
Perform general assembly per instructions or specifications
Operates any equipment needed to perform the tasks given
Quality Control:
Evaluate product and perform quality inspection on assembled product
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
Shipping:
Prepare finished product for shipping
Safety:
Follow all safety policies
Maintain Work Practices:
Maintain work environment to 5S standards
Promote a positive team atmosphere with coworkers and subordinates
Be on time for your scheduled workday
Marginal Job Functions:
Other projects as needed.
Education:
Minimum high school education or equivalent required
Experience:
Basic assembly experience and general knowledge of tools required
Prefer onemonth related experience or training preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work overtime when needed
Valid drivers license required for local travel
