Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join our team. The Commercial Lines Producer will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts cultivating new business relationships and providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the commercial insurance market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies for business growth
- Analyze clients insurance needs and provide customized solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and offer informed advice to clients
- Prepare and present proposals negotiate terms and close sales
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the insurance process
- Manage and maintain accurate client and policy information in the agency management system
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven track record as a successful Insurance Producer strong producing experience is required
- Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance products underwriting and risk management
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Effective communication and relationshipbuilding abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Proficiency with insurance management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Previous experience working with large commercial accounts is preferred
- Previous independent agency experience is required
- 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
