About the position
Location: Hugoton KS
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safetyconscious Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations by efficiently transporting loading and unloading goods. This role involves operating forklifts and other materialhandling equipment to move pallets and products securely. The ideal candidate will also assist with general warehouse tasks such as inventory checks and packaging while adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a fastpaced industrial environment
- Load unload stack and unstack goods onto shelves pallets and trucks
- Transport products from storage areas to designated shipping or staging areas
- Relocate incoming deliveries to assigned storage locations accurately and promptly
- Inspect forklifts regularly and report any mechanical issues or damage
- Maintain a clean and hazardfree work area ensuring aisles and forklift paths are clear
- Use shrink wrap straps and pallets to secure and package goods for shipment
- Consolidate and organize partial pallets to optimize warehouse space
- Assist with inventory checks and recordkeeping in SAP as required
- Stay updated on warehouse safety regulations and forklift operating procedures
