Main Function
Discover and tell the stories of RockPointe in creative and effective ways through social media and visual storytelling.
RockPointe Social Media Management
- Champion churchwide social media strategy to align with the ministry goals of RockPointe Church
- Collaborate with Creative Team content creators to drive social strategy push innovation and foster continued learning
- Monitor social media channels reviews and comments and communicate with followers and answer inquiries in a timely manner; platforms include Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn etc.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop awareness of RockPointe Church like promotions and advertisements with specific objectives and reporting on ROI
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media design tools and applications e.g. Instagram moving to videobased content
- Collaborate with Creative Team on vision and for yearly initiatives such as Easter and Christmas services
- Attend monthly RockPointe All Staff meetings and weekly Creative Team checkins and work sessions
Ministry Social Media Liaison
- Collaborate with and help lead other ministry teams in their social media usage to ensure efficiency and brand consistency
- Maintain each ministrys Canva brand packages and serve as Canva administrator
- Actively ensure social media brand integrity across the church
Content Creation
- Oversee social media accounts design and aesthetic i.e. request Facebook timeline cover profile photos layouts as needed and develop content when possible etc.
- Take/edit photos and videos as needed for social web and print content
- Rotate one Sunday a month in photography team duties
- Generate edit publish and share engaging content according to strategic editorial calendar e.g. original text photos videos news and stories
TouchPoint App Management
- Maintain and update TouchPoint platform features and mobile app content
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training for ministry teams on using TouchPoint app features
- Troubleshoot user issues and serve as liaison with TouchPoint support when needed
- Create clear documentation and guides for staff reference
- Collaborate with ministries to ensure build out of event registrations channels media/resources for accuracy
- Ensure homepage content sermon archives and featured announcements are current
- Assist with push notification scheduling and best practices for churchwide notifications
- Work with Creative Team to align branding and messaging within the app
- Regularly audit app sections for relevance and claritye.g. sermons channels giving events
- Coordinate with TouchPoint support for updates bug fixes or customizations
- Serve as primary point of contact for ministry leaders needing support or strategy for appbased engagement
- Collaborate with Senior TouchPoint Associate
Skill Requirements
- 13 years handson experience in content creation and social media management
- Solid knowledge of SEO keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Canva & Adobe design experience preferred
- Ability to work occasional nights weekends and holidays as required to fulfill assigned duties
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time
