This position is currently located in Anchorage Alaska.


What You Will Be Doing:
In this role you will perform complex technical research and statistical analysis of quantitative and qualitative behavioral health data from a variety of datasets to support the Divisions policy research develop reporting to satisfy state and federal requirements and inform the programmatic evaluation of the Divisions grantfunded services.

You will develop analyze and recommend improvements to research and analysis methods techniques and procedures. You will also prepare professional technical reports that may require the development of companion data visualizations and maintain project documentation to support sectionwide project management activities. To perform these duties you will utilize various statistical analysis software/tools such as Power BI SPSS SAS R SQL and/or Tableau to perform assigned tasks.

This position includes a flex work plan that offers promotional opportunities to develop their knowledge skills and abilities to satisfy the requirements of each level of technical responsibility and expertise.

FLEXIBLY STAFFED
This position is flexibly staffed. This vacancy may be filled at either the 1 2 or 3 levels depending on the applicants training and/or experience. The full range of salaries is listed above. Starting salary will be determined by the level of the position. If filled at a lower level promotion to the higher level will only occur upon successfully completing the probationary period and the required training provided the applicant meets the minimum qualifications of the higher job class and receives final approval from the supervisor.
