Job Description
We are seeking internal expressions of interest for Clinical Moderator My Circle. This is a part time 48 hours per fortnight) parental leave backfill opportunity to commence late May until 4 December 2025. You must be available to work the attached roster with minimal changes.
The My Circle team work onsite at Milton for at least 60 of their shifts. Wednesday week one is a compulsory onsite day for all team members.
Your day to day may involve:
Working closely and collaboratively with comoderators in a fastpaced highly communicative team culture
Checking group activity on My Circle replying to comments posts and messages
Identifying and responding to content containing safety concerns in line with relevant yourtown and Kids Helpline policies and following appropriate documentation processes
Identifying editing and removing content comments or posts that violate Community Guidelines
Sending follow up messages to community members
Flagging platform issues and member conduct or counselling related issues for Supervisors to address
Creating and posting content and crossposting content from Kids Helpline social media to provide information education and resources relevant to the themes and support needs presented by members
To be successful in this role you will need:
relevant bachelors degree in psychology social work counselling or equivalent
ability to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends as rostered and be flexible and resilient to manage within a shift work environment
demonstrated understanding of social cognitive developmental and mental health issues confronting children young people and their families
knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire group development skills and an understanding of group dynamics
demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of how social media environments operate and skill in interacting with people online via common interfaces
training and experience in My Circle is preferred but not essential
The position is classified as Class 48 Grade 4 Level 4. You will retain your current base salary during the secondment if you are currently on Class 50 Grade 6 or Class 51 Grade 7.
