Job Description
**Job Summary:**
The Warehouse Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving storing and distributing merchandise. They will lead a team of warehouse associates ensuring efficient workflows and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
**Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Attention to detail and organizational skills
**Responsibilities:**
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff
Oversee receiving storing and distributing of products
Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
Train and onboard new warehouse team members
Enforce safety guidelines and best practices
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistical processes
Report any issues or discrepancies to management
**Preferred Skills:**
Certification in forklift operation
Experience with warehouse management software
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
